Didn't have time to write New Year's resolution. It's the same though, year in year out. But this year I also aim to be kinder, more patient and more observant to people around me. One good thing about setting yearly targets is if you look at it daily, your subconscious mind would find a way to make it real (or so they say). Take last year - I noticed I achieved 80% target weight loss after I started tracking my diet and exercise.. heh! I guess most people has weight loss on top of their NY's resolution list. Why is that? Are we so bombarded by all these skinny actress/models on TV/movies that most feel inadequate in his/her own skin? Hmm..
It feels good to loose weight though, especially when I can fit back into my engagement kebaya! :-)

Nowadays whenever I lie down to sleep I think about dying. I dunno why. I can't be tired of life now, can I? There's so much to do and God sure knows I'm so not ready to 'go'. But it is a good muhasabah of sort. Last I thought about dying was when I went to get my head scanned. I was worried about Fairuza mostly. Who would take care of her if I'm gone? :(

Had a mock interview just now. Found out I'm so unprepared for the assessment next 2 days. Why am I so pessimistic about this? It's not like I'll be here forever! 7 years countdown has started...

I probably need to add 'be more optimistic' in my NY's resolution list!

Weight loss: It is a common problem because of the way we all live I guess. But being thin wasn't always "in". In the early 20th century, being fat was the fad.
Mortal thoughts: It's only natural to think about death, esp as we grow older. People say it's good, but too much of anything is bad. I try not to think about it too much or else I wouldn't be able to... err... LIVE! Nevertheless, I made a visit to Amanah Raya earlier this month, to submit my will. I wanted to wait till my net worth gets significantly large but my wife thought we should do it immediately. I appointed who should be the guardian of my kids too should both of us passed at the same time.
Why did you get your head scanned? I had an MRI on my head too last Oct because of recurrent headaches, but found nothing serious.
Hey Pejaz.. yeah, I guess I should do the Amanah Raya thingy too. We had a talk by them last year at the company. But what happened if the appointed person passed away eh? Do we name 2nd or 3rd guardians?
I got my head scanned coz at one point whenever I heard people batuk or ppl's voices in my h/p I would feel a 'buzz' in the middle of my head. Pelik giler. Blogged abt it last Oct/Nov, I think. It wasn't painful or anything - the specialist said probably I was too stressed out at work or sth. But alhamdulillah found nothing wrong. It got me seriously thinking about my mortality though. Life is short..
Target weight loss this year - another 5kilos. Haha. I've never in my entire life set a proper target on weight loss. But last year I was at my heaviest (time pregnant doesn't count). U're targeting to shed a few kilos too, rite? Lets make a bet! heh! :D
One thing you cannot expect from AR is to give you proper advise. I'm not sure about other outfit such as WasiahShoppe, etc. Kalau banyak duit, employ law firm je lah... haha -- they can give proper advise on how to do things.
I can come out with the same "diagnosis" as the specialist -- that you were stressed!!! HAHAHAHAHAa...
Takut nak bet ni... haha... so far I have not been taking this seriously. Maybe I should start a food diary.... NOTTT!!!
